Laura is Audiovisual Communication student at the Complutense University of Madrid. 

Since starting his studies, I have always been alone with studying in Italy. But his work did not allow him to spend a full semester outside of Spain.

That's when I decided to try it Erasmus+ hybrid mobility program with the University of Bolonia.

For four months I participated in virtual classes with Italian teachers and international online projects. At the end of the course, he traveled to Bolonia for a few weeks to complete the practical part of his exchange.

It was an incredible experience. I was able to follow more classes in Madrid and, at the same time, learn about another university and work with European colleagues. I felt like I lived the best of an exchange without giving up my life in Spain”, says Laura.

Which universities and careers offer hybrid mobility programs?

Many Spanish universities offer hybrid mobility programs, in different careers and study areas.

  • Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), with hybrid projects in Communication, Education and Social Sciences.
  • University of Barcelona (UB), which combines short face-to-face exchanges with online training in Humanities and Economics.
